SB-600 Flash (Speedlight) Review

My Nikon SB600 Speedlight Flash/Strobe Review

This is a superb flash for the money. I have used this flash for several years and love it.

Here's what's Cool about the SB-600 Speedlight:
You can bounce it in almost any direction.
It's powerful (Just a little less than the SB-800).
It can be used off camera in wireless CLS mode.
It's super easy to adjust the output.
Built in wide angle diffuser.
Nice easy to read LCD screen.
Relatively inexpensive (Approx $225) June 2009
Tough - I've dropped mine several times.
Works with almost any Nikon Camera.

If you need a flash and think you might want to be a little creative with it someday. Get the SB-600 instead of the SB-400. The SB-400 is cool for snap shots at parties etc. The features on the SB-400 are pretty limited. Buy the SB-600 and have some fun!

As always buy it from the best Nikon dealer on the web. bhphoto.com. The guys at B&H photo know how to take care of their customers. If an online camera store is offering a price to good to be true stay away from them!
