Pelican Camera Case 1510 and 1514 Pelican cases are the toughest on the planet.

Pelican 1510 and 1514

This is one of my favorite pieces of gear. Pelican cases are tough as rock. When you want to protect your equipment go with Pelican cases. You can stand on them, sit on them and wash them down with a water hose with your gear inside. Other bags and cases may claim to be all-weather (AW) but, in my opinion Pelican cases are the only true all weather rain proof cases. I use the 1510 because it handles almost everything I need and this case is carry on friendly when flying. It's easy to lock when shooting on location. Lock the lid and then lock it to a fence or table and go worry free. They also carry a lifetime guarantee!

I'll save you the trouble of searching the internet for more reviews. Pelican products consistently get 5 stars. This product gets 5 stars out of 48 reviews on the bhphoto.com

  1. I have been in the decision making process that has kept me on the fence about getting a heavy duty camera case like Pelican. Because of the
price of their cases, I was very hesitant to buying one, especially since no one I knew had even seen them before. This blog was very informative, and helped me make my decision to get the hard shell Pelican case instead of another soft shell case that might damage my camera. I payed well over $500 for my camera and I do not want it to get broken. Great job and I will be surfing through your blog often.
