Nikon SB-400 Speedlight (Flash)This is a handy flash that is much better than on camera flashes and has the ability to bounce light of the ceiling.
Who should buy it?
Anyone who wants or needs to take better flash photos and does not want to complicate the process. This flash is extremely easy to use. Slide it on the camera and turn it on and your ready to go. It's great for party snap shots etc... It will help you reduce red-eye with the ability to bounce the light of the ceiling.
Don't buy it if...
You want to use it wirelessly.
You want on flash control of the output.
You want to bounce light in portrait style photos.
This flash is made to be used like the on camera flash. It's simple to use and there's zero learning curve. If you need a flash that will give you more pop than the on camera flash and allows you to bounce light in landscape mode this flash is for you.
If you need more pop or think you might want to get creative with your flash step up to the SB-600 or SB-900.

ReplyDeletePerhaps time to update your Blog entries? SB-600 has been replaced, TC's have been upgraded. Noticed other comments relating to older products as well. Good reading here though. Simple and precise.
